1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing www.sowilosociety.com, purchasing coaching, booking a Spinal Energetics session, joining a challenge/event, or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use our website or services.

These terms are between you and Lisa Gaukroger, ABN 76454374721, trading as Sowilo Society ("we", "us", "our").

2. Who can use our services

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. By purchasing or booking, you confirm you're at least 18.

3. Website use

- You may browse and use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes.

- You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, resell, or republish our website content, frameworks, or materials without written permission.

- All content on the site — including our proprietary frameworks (e.g. the 7 Money Blocks, the Currency Academy process), written material, videos, and branding — is owned by us or used under licence and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

- Free content on the website (blog posts, social content, freebies) is general information only, not personalised advice, and is not a substitute for 1:1 coaching or professional care.

4. Our services

We offer:

- Coaching containers

- Spinal Energetics sessions

- Group programs, challenges, and workshops (e.g. Seated Wealth Challenge, Currency Academy)

- Digital content and resources

- Services are delivered as described at the time of purchase. We may reasonably update program structure, format, or delivery method (e.g. platform changes) without reducing the overall value of what you've purchased.

5. Payment terms

- Fees are payable as set out at checkout or in your program agreement, including any payment plan schedule.

- Payment plans are a commitment to the full program fee, paid in instalments — not a session-by-session, cancel-anytime arrangement.

- If a scheduled payment fails, we'll attempt to process it again or contact you to update payment details. Continued non-payment may result in pause or suspension of services until resolved.

- All fees are in [AUD / your chosen currency] unless stated otherwise. International clients are responsible for any currency conversion fees or charges from their own bank or provider.

6. Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds

This section states our policy — it operates alongside, and does not reduce, your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law (see Section 12).

- Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 32 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, are forfeited and non-refundable.

- Because our Coaching and Spinal Energetics containers are delivered 1:1, in person, and with limited availability, refunds are not offered once your container has commenced, except as required by law.

- Digital products, recordings, and challenge replays are non-refundable once accessed.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law to a refund, replacement, or compensation where we fail to deliver services with due care and skill, or where services are not fit for purpose.

7. Client responsibilities

Coaching and Spinal Energetics work is a collaborative process. You agree to:

- Show up prepared and engaged for scheduled sessions

- Provide accurate information during intake, including relevant health information

- Take responsibility for decisions and actions you take in your own life, business, or health as a result of this work

- Let us know promptly of any changes to your health or circumstances relevant to your sessions

We can't guarantee specific outcomes, as results depend significantly on your own engagement, circumstances, and effort (see Section 9).

8. Scope of practice — what this work is, and isn't

- Coaching and Spinal Energetics are not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or licensed financial advice.

- We are not acting as your doctor, therapist, psychologist, or financial advisor, even where sessions draw on a clinical or scientific background.

- Spinal Energetics is a complementary, energetics-based modality working with the spine and nervous system. It is not a diagnostic or medical treatment.

- You should continue to see appropriate licensed professionals for diagnosis, treatment, medication, or advice relating to any physical, mental health, legal, or financial condition or decision.

- If you're currently under the care of a medical or mental health professional, we recommend informing them that you're engaging in this work.

9. Results and earnings disclaimer

Any results, testimonials, or examples shared by us or past clients reflect individual experiences and are not typical or guaranteed outcomes.

We do not guarantee specific financial, income, business, health, or personal results from coaching or Spinal Energetics work. Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your own effort, circumstances, and external market conditions.

Nothing in our marketing, sessions, or program materials should be relied on as a promise of future earnings or income.

10. Confidentiality

We treat what you share in sessions as confidential and won't disclose it to third parties without your consent, except: Where required by law Where we believe there's a risk of serious harm to you or someone else As otherwise described in our [Privacy Policy]

We ask that you likewise keep proprietary program materials, frameworks, and content confidential and don't share, teach, or resell them without permission.

11. Intellectual property

All program materials, session frameworks, worksheets, recordings, and related content are our intellectual property. Your purchase grants you a personal licence to use them for your own development — not a right to reproduce, teach, resell, or distribute them.

12. Your consumer guarantees (Australian Consumer Law)

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures, you're entitled to a refund or compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You're also entitled to have services re-supplied or a refund if the services fail to be provided with due care and skill, or aren't fit for the purpose you made known to us, in a way that doesn't amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to Section 12:

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special loss (such as loss of profits or business opportunities).

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to services if you breach these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour toward us or staff, or fail to make payment as agreed. You may end your engagement with us at any time in accordance with our cancellation and refund policy (Section 6).

15. Dispute resolution

If a concern arises, we ask that you contact us first at https://sowilosociety.com/contact so we can try to resolve it directly. If we can't resolve it informally, either party may pursue other remedies available under law, including through the relevant Australian consumer body or courts.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of NSW, Australia. If you're accessing our services from outside Australia, you agree that any dispute will still be governed by these laws, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your own country.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
